Family portraits should be fun! (WHAT DID SHE SAY??) Oh yes...well...I know... If you're like most people you
might recall something like this: You
pack up the kids in their best outfits with their favorite candy (for bribing) and hope they don't spill anything or spit up on themselves or fall asleep
on the way which your youngest might because, well, the morning nap just didn't quite go as planned and then when you
wake her upon your arrival you have a grouchy bear on your hands instead of the angelic child you were hoping to capture for the
annual family portrait in which you only have 15 minutes to regroup or you lose your time slot and your daughter
(now awake) can't seem to get too excited about the photographer whom she just met and who is surrounded by giant
shiny things that keep flashing and her big brother who just learned how to say CHEEEEEEZ is now saying it with so much
exhuberance he looks nothing like the giggly kid you know him to be...
 | Oh...but I insist...family portraits should be FUN!! A fun family session means happy smiles
and thoughtful faces, and it's much easier to achieve this in the comfort of your own home. Let me come to your
home and set up my studio amidst the kid-friendly chaos. I'll chat it up with your little ones while I set up my equipment, tell them about
all my fun gadgets and hopefully in the process I'll gain enough trust from them that I'll be able to capture all the
sides of their personality that make you love them so. And, if we need a
snack break or just a "let's run around and get the ants out of our pants break" we can do that, too. Your in-home
session will last 60-90 minutes, giving everyone a relaxed and fun portrait experience. And then, about 7-10 days later
your images will be online for you to view and share with friends and family, completely retouched and ready for you to order.

Family Portrait Packages
The In-home Studio Session
$400 - I bring posing lights (no flash), a couple different backdrops, and a few props (these things we'll discuss before our portrait day.) Your session lasts about 60-90 minutes.
Your price includes a $125 print gift certificate (for example, an 8x10 is $22, 5x7's are $12)
An Outdoor Small Family Session
$250 - I'll meet your family of 4 or fewer at a beautiful place in or around Columbia (minimal travel fee for distances over 15 miles outside city limits). We'll
do several posed images, and then take a walk to capture some "stolen" moments and "action" shots. Your session will last 45-60 minutes. This package comes with a $50 print gift certificate.
Pets are welcome of course!
An Outdoor Large Family Session
$350 - Same as the Small Family, but your session for your family of 5 - 10 members will last 60-90 minutes and your print gift certificate is for $75.
Groups of 10 or more just let me know what you have in mind and I'll tailor a package just for your needs.
