Weddings are rich with emotion and beauty. Traditional wedding photography just doesn't capture the romance and detail that a photojournalist will record. After all, your wedding day is more than just the ceremony and the reception. It starts when you wake up and head for the beauty salon; it continues as your mother places her pearls around your neck - and you wouldn't want to miss seeing your future husband fumble over his bow tie just before the ceremony. These are the images that will count decades after you say "I do."

Documentary wedding photography, sometimes referred to as photojournalism, is an art form unlike any other. We are storytellers. As your photographers, we will be discreetly catching the moments of your wedding day that will give you goosebumps and make you laugh as you are brought back to that amazing day so long ago. Your images, many in black and white, will have a timeless storybook quality to them.

We invite you to visit the websites of some of our more recent couples. As a client of Moonshadow Studio, the finest images from your wedding will be featured in your very own online wedding album like these listed below. Moonshadow Wedding Package

$3500

  • An Outdoor Engagement Session with $100 Print Gift Certificate
Your one-hour session allows us to get to know one-another, and it gives me an idea of your comfort zone when it comes to photography. And if you booked online or over the phone I'd love to take you out to lunch or for coffee or a cocktail so that we can catch up on anything I might have missed during an interview. Knowing our clients is what makes it easy for us to get such great photos - you will naturally be more relaxed, and in turn, more photogenic, when you know and trust the person on the other side of the camera lens.
  • Documentary and portrait coverage by two photographers on your wedding day for up to 10 hours ($200/hour thereafter). My assistant, Aubrey Rowden (BFA, Photography UMC) and I will quietly capture the stolen moments, and we'll happily help your day move along in any way we can. We have a lot of fun on the job and our former couples will tell you our energy does not run out as long as something romantic is happening around us, and that's pretty much all the time when it comes to weddings!
